Michelle Wie Western is looking ahead. And, to your foreseeable future, saying goodbye towards the LPGA Tour.

She took 2020 through and gave birth with her daughter, Makenna, in 06 2020, and made a brief go back to play six events (making two cuts) in 2021.

Her health must have been a big factor in her final choice to step away.

“At times, basically do play a lot of golf club I’m just in bed, ” she told Nichols. “Or I can’t lift (Makenna) up, and that scared put. ”

Wie West was dubbed this big thing in women’s golf at a young age, and your lady list of accomplishments as a child have bene well-documented.

At 12 years age-old she was the youngest bettor to ever qualify for the actual LPGA event, and a christmas later she became all the youngest player to today make a cut in an LPGA event and also at the O. S. Women’s Open.

In 2004, she experienced a sponsor’s exemption through thre Sony Open and became often the youngest female to only for this minute play on the PGA Concert tours.

Wie Seems to enrolled at Stanford present in 2007 but continued to spend time playing professionally. She won your sweetheart’s first LPGA event in ’09 and has five total has won the in her career, particular 2014 U. S. Female Open at Pinehurst, your loved one lone major title.
