When that your traveling to all these different strikes [to call games] buyer enough time for you to bring your favorite sticks and go hold?

Oh, yeah. Still back when I was doing the Cardinals on a day-to-day basis, additionally I’m in Cincinnati for three days and Houston for 3 days and Atlanta for 3 days and San Francisco, this is when you kinda learn how to play. While that’s when I was gambling my most golf.

But not the maximum anymore?

Now I’m at the level where … I wanna get back home. I wanna see my kids. I wanna see my wife. There’s not a lot of more than one days on the road playing golf.

Initially, I believed it was time for me like, “Go to your venue. You’re grounded. ” Immediately after I was like, “You realize? She’s right. ”

Because [golf ] needs a different tone. You won’t be loud. When prepared to doin’ an NFL or even an MLB game, this is kinda louder than understandable conversation. Golf does not need that do, want that. And so, it is advisable to tone it back a little bit. Grand hard for me to learn.

Did you like broadcasting golf?

Oh, I admired it. I just love getting around golf. I’ll crash into balls all day. I just absolutely love being around the driving spectrum, watching guys strike this ball and hearing specifically they’re working on.

Extremely. Now, I’ve never experienced baseball at Yankee Stadium. I’ve never run meet patterns at Gillette Arena. But I’ve played Oakmont . And I’ve played Pebble Beach destination . And I’ve tried Shinnecock . So I know how problematical it is. And then to be able to take a seat there, watch them attack kinds of golf courses. It was particularly fun for me.
