While the upstart, Saudi-backed league has done many different facts over its first six events, its players have to still putt out. Yet , in what was very likely the particular tongue-in-cheek moment on Saturday when having Golf Channel’s broadcast through the Champions’ SAS Championship suivant round, Jacobsen wasn’t quite sure.  

As Mediate stood over his 1-footer on the par-5 12th using Prestonwood Country Club, Jacobsen, other analyst Karen Stupples with announcer George Savaricas owned this exchange:

“If we were playing the right match, this one would be really, wouldn’t it? ” Stupples asked.  

“Yeah, I think they would say good to pick this up, ” Jacobsen said. “But for some reason, they don’t give putts throughout the professional golf. At least in no way on the PGA Tour or the LPGA Tour. ” 

“No, ” Stupples said.    

“Rocco and Sumado a. E. Yang both utilizing three birdies their latest four holes, ” Savaricas said. “Co-leaders at eight-under. ” 

“Do they give putts out there on the LIV Recorrido? I don’t know, ” Jacobsen said.  

The put out then flipped over to Thongchai Jaidee putting.  

The very comment may raise a new eyebrow, though interestingly, LIV could have putt concessions within the match-play portion of its season-ending event at the end of the month or two. Rarely have Golf Channels or other PGA Walk through broadcast partners mentioned LIV, outside of commenting on breaking news items. LIV, in fact , plays this week in Saudi Arabia, whereas its event was not described on Golf Channel’s Jeu de golf Central show on Saturday night time.

Notably, Jacobsen has adjust been critical of LIV Golf.  

In mid-May, in front of the series’ first event, usually the longtime pro told the Bald Faced Truth website that he didn’t experience the LIV would appreciate any events and that “it’s all about money, it’s remarkable facts about short-term cash. ”

For the interview, Jacobsen also bloody LIV CEO Greg Norman for appearing at downplay the murder and are generally Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. At a LIV press getting together with in mid-May, as reported by ESPN , Norman said: “From what I heard and what users guys reported, just take ownership of what it is. According to Norman’s comments, Jacobsen assumed in the interview:  

“Are you kidding me? Those stated things are some inflammatory statements that no one can make and nobody should bring in. ”
