Team U.S.A. will be treated to some killer footwear, courtesy of Italian shoe brand Del Toro, the American team’s official shoe partner.
Del Toro’s artisans cut, sculpt and hand-paint each pair of the brand’s shoes, and this year’s players will enjoy three envy-inducing pairs.
The first, a sharp white sneaker, is crafted of authentic Italian leather with a rubber heel. The Team U.S.A. Ryder Cup logo is embossed on the back of the shoe, with an image of the Ryder Cup trophy on the tongue.
Next, players will sport a luxurious black velvet slipper to wear to the welcome dinner. Custom details include the Team U.S.A. Ryder Cup logo emblazoned on the bottom of the shoe, the trophy embroidered on the outer heel and the player’s initials on the inner heel.
And third, they get a handsome brown Italian leather Milano loafer, with each player’s initials embossed on the leather inner sole, to wear at the opening ceremony. Che bello!
