Building Your Course Combine
Every TrackMan customer has access to the TrackMan Combine and Test Center. The Test Center is where most Tour pros typically dial in their stock yardage through the bag every week.
Lately, we have seen more and more players building the course they are playing that week with expected yards for each hole.
The players simply build their course inside the test center instead of stock yardages. For example, if the first hole is a 450 yards par 4 and the player expect to drive the ball 300 yards, the first shot in the Test Center will be a drive then a randomized distance from 135-155. This will give the player pressured practice on the range while having a course mentality instead of just yardages.
Another example could be a typical three-hole stretch that a player wants to prep for the course.
First shot being a driver into a par 4 expecting to have anywhere from 135-150 yards and the TrackMan will pick a given number in between those distances. The third and fourth shot would be hitting into a par 5 and the expected distance you want to hit into the green.
The 5th shot being a par 3 that can play at different yardages depending on tee and pin location.
I’ve seen players do this for all 18 holes or just a stretch of holes they want to focus on. Give it a try, build your course in the test center to get a better preview of your needs for the week!
